Car flips onto tracks, killing Champlin man A 20-year-old Champlin man was killed early Wednesday when the car he was in missed a curve on County Road 8 in Becker and flipped onto some nearby railroad tracks.
The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office identified the dead man as Nicholas Wresh. Another Champlin man in the car, Adam Wiirre, 23, was injured and flown to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was in critical condition late Wednesday afternoon.
The Sheriff's Office did not specify which man was driving. The accident occurred at 2:39 a.m. at the intersection of County Road 8 and Hwy. 10.
