In the first move of its kind, the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota identified a car dealership Friday it says violated a Minnesota Auto Dealers Association policy that asks dealers to promptly correct misleading or "problematic" advertising.

The BBB said it began working with the business, Fury Motors, which has locations in South St. Paul and Lake Elmo, in July over their presentation of a $1,000 financing discount.

The BBB acknowledges the dealership has made some fixes, but hasn't fully complied.

Jim Leonard, co-owner of Fury Motors, said: "It's not a simple process. We've put good effort forward to try to comply and we'll continue to do so. They're jumping the gun on this."

Fury Motors' BBB rating went from A+ to F.
