Rhiannon Giddens earned a Grammy for her work with the old-timey Carolina Chocolate Drops and rave reviews for her contributions to an all-star recording project featuring unpublished Bob Dylan lyrics. Giddens, who performs Tuesday at the Pantages in Minneapolis, sings the praises of an obscure 2007 album she keeps returning to.

"It's a very little known recording but it's spectacular from beginning to end. It's by Jamie Laval and Ashley Broder; he's a Scottish fiddler and she's a mandolinist. It's called 'Zephyr in the Confetti Factory.' It's all instrumental. It's beautiful, intricate music."
