Cameo critic: Joel McHale

"Let the Right One In:" Very original

Joel McHale spends so much time being funny -- he lambastes cheesy reality stars on the E! channel's "The Soup," stars in NBC's "Community" and played a sold-out show Friday at Mystic Lake Casino -- that sometimes he just wants to enjoy a bit of drama. He was floored by a terrifying 2008 film about a 12-year-old boy who befriends a young vampire in a Stockholm suburb (soon to be a Hollywood remake).

TOM HORGEN

"Pick up the Blu-ray of the Swedish vampire movie 'Let the Right One In.' With all the hype about vampires, that [movie] is by far and away the best thing out of that craze. That movie is just a masterpiece. It was an incredibly well told story. Very original."
