A week ago, big storms were pounding California with high winds and heavy rain.In Los Angeles, roughly 4 inches of rain fell from Jan. 17-22. The rest ofCalifornia did equally well in the rainfall department, while in theSierra-Nevada, snow was measured by the foot.
This week, the rampage of storms off the Pacific has stopped completely, and noother major weather events will hit this part of the country for several days.
