With snow mounds, slippery spots and cold temperatures making outdoor play areas uninviting or unsafe, fun seekers need an indoor alternative.
Enter temperature-controlled indoor parks with ample room for jumping, sliding and climbing. From big-box places like Sky Zone, which has several Minnesota locations, to out-of-the-box venues like InnerActive and We Rock the Spectrum, there are plenty of options for energetic kids and tired parents to avoid cabin fever.
You’ll want to do your homework before going. Many of the playgrounds require signed waivers before embarking on a jumping frenzy, and a handful also require the purchase of specialty socks.
