C.J.: Reality TV bride Stodden says porn films not for her

Reality-celebrity-desperate-teenage-bride Courtney Stodden talked about her failed 2011 marriage to Apple Valley actor Doug Hutchinson on Fox's "Bethenny," and Bethenny Frankel did a little grillin', shall we say.

"A lot of people go from controversial into a porn career, it's a little racy. What do your parents think of all of this?" asked Bethenny.

"I'm really wanting to focus on me and that's why I came on this show to kind of clear the air a little bit and put it out there that I've learned I need to be 19. I need to do what regular girls do," Courtney told Bethenny.

"You don't look like a regular girl," said Bethenny.

To me Stodden doesn't even look the way she did a year ago, with exaggerated breasts and other features apparently tweaked and puffed.

"I don't, I know that," said Stodden. "I think that goes along with maybe not judging a book by its cover. … I happen to feel comfortable like this. I like the way I look, I love the way I look. I think that's all that matters."

Courtney: "No, that's not the direction I'm taking. Trust me, the second I turned 18 the entire porn industry turned upside down, Vivid, all of them. I turned down a $5 million porn offer about three months ago. I actually feel that I am a true feminist."

Hutchinson, who was 51 when he married a 16-year-old Stodden, told E! Online that he doesn't foresee a reconciliation although he took their wedding vows to heart. "Divorce doesn't change that."

Twin Cities actor Stacia Rice has some lucky lips.

I was talking to James Denton of "Desperate Housewives" fame about his current Twin Cities play "Rancho Mirage," running until Dec. 7 at the Old Log Theater.

Denton told me, "Stacia Rice is one of the most popular actors in the Twin Cities and she has acted as the wife of Carlos in 'Desperate Housewives,' Ricardo Chavira in 'Streetcar Named Desire' at the Guthrie, and is now my wife in 'Rancho Mirage' at the Old Log. That is a pretty crazy coincidence. What's funny also is that she's pregnant and she was pregnant when she worked with Ricardo."

Lucky lips, indeed. Purely professional, too.

The idea of my pal restaurant creator Steve Schussler's Monday 8 p.m. appearance on Discovery Channel's "Fast N' Loud" is rather scary.

Schussler appears on the show to buy a 1964 Amphicar from motor mastermind Richard Rawlings, who searches for dilapidated classic cars in and around Texas to restore at Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas. "It's the No. 1 rated show on Discovery," Schussler claimed Tuesday. "I checked it out. It's having the unfathomable success of [A & E's] 'Duck Dynasty.' They had us on for four minutes. I went there with my partner from Dallas, Jon Donahue.

Schussler is in the market for more than one floating car: "I'm collecting Amphicars for a major resort and a major new restaurant opening in Orlando."

To show the Gas Monkey guys what a restored Amphicar looks like, Schussler had his mechanical savant Dave Flom drive one from Minnesota on a 35-foot trailer. "I thought it would be good drama and I wanted to show them that I knew what I was talking about," Schussler said. "We went for a swim in mine. … We went into the pond next to Gas Monkey's restaurant. People are screaming, yelling. That show is so friggin' popular you wouldn't believe it."
