There's reason to believe that bogus may best describe a gossip website's juicy story about former Timberwolf Kevin Garnett's wife getting into a skirmish in Boston.
MediaTakeOut.com claims a credible insider witnessed Brandi Garnett needing to be restrained upon seeing a woman who has been linked to KG, since before he left the Timberwolves for the Celtics.
The woman was, according to MediaTakeOut, leaving a special exit, which presumably is for family and friends, at Boston's TD Garden, the arena where the Celtics play. MediaTakeOut said there were people around who would have made certain Brandi won the skirmish.
"Good for you Brandi, these jumpoffs are getting way too COMFORTABLE. We're glad you stood up for yourself and CHECKED HER," reads the website.
Way to buck up matrimony, but my source tells me: "It's fictitious, it never happened. Honestly, she [Brandi] left the arena as usual, nothing happened."
Brandi landed on the flattering side of a "basketball wives" spread in the January-February issue of Juicy magazine that gave no hint of the Garnett marriage being anything but solid.
