There's no reason for the heat to be set on low when Levi Johnston is scheduled to shoot a video in LA next week with Minnesota singer/songwriter Brittani Senser.

Now that Johnston doesn't have to worry about making his fiancee, Bristol Palin, jealous, Senser's "After Love" video should be plenty hot.

"We think so. Yeah, it's definitely picking up steam. It's amazing," said Michael (Heat) Williams, the senior veep at Bungalo Records told me when reached in LA Wednesday.

Williams said his team had every confidence that Johnston was going to try to bring it, even before news broke that the second Johnston-Palin engagement was kaput.

Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, called off the engagement. That happened after Johnston told the teenage mother of their baby, Tripp, that he may have fathered another baby with another teenage girl.

"The final straw was him flying to Hollywood for what he told me was to see some hunting show, but come to find out it was that music video mocking my family," Palin told People magazine during a tearful phone call, during which she declared, "It's over" and said "I got played" because Johnston likes the limelight.

The story line of "After Love" is about a man whose romance is thwarted by his girlfriend's mom. While that sounds like the same old song to Palin, it's not actually about her, as you'll hear from Williams in my Thursday column.
