The State Patrol recorded 420 DWI arrests during December's statewide DWI crackdown. Local police departments also took part in the enforcement effort, with the following arrests reported by selected metro agencies:

Minneapolis, 69

St. Paul, 51

Bloomington, 51

Burnsville, 41

In outstate Minnesota:

St. Cloud, 45

Mankato, 39

Moorhead, 38

Rochester, 35
