Robbinsdale shelter-in-place alert accidentally sent countywide

Authorities say Hennepin County mistakenly sent out a shelter-in-place alert countywide that was supposed to be sent to only one block in Robbinsdale for a domestic incident.

Federal officials have decided not to list sturgeon under the Endangered Species Act in Minnesota and elsewhere.

Wildlife agency: Sturgeon won't go on endangered species list

In a decision welcomed by Minnesota's fishing community and the DNR, the Fish and Wildlife Service said it won't list lake sturgeon under the Endangered Species Act.
