After being promoted from Cedar Rapids to Fort Myers, center fielder Byron Buxton made his debut for the Miracle on Tuesday afternoon and went 1-for-5, a single, in a 5-4 loss to Palm Beach. He was also thrown out trying to steal second and struck out once.

Aaron Hicks played the first game of his rehab assignment from a hamstring injury for Class AAA Rochester and went 3-for-4 with a double and two singles in a 5-3 loss at Indianapolis. He also tried to score from second base on a passed ball and was thrown out.

More details -- including a note about Buxton's replacement in center field at Cedar Rapids -- are available from the Twins Daily minor-league report, which you can see here.
