A burned body was found over the weekend in Onamia, Minn., in Mille Lacs County, and authorities there expect to release more information Monday.
The body was found near a waste treatment plant on the Mille Lacs Indian Reservation, about 2 miles away from where a 19-year-old man went missing earlier this month.
The Mille Lacs Messenger newspaper reported the case is being investigated by the Mille Lacs Tribal Police, the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Authorities wouldn't say whether the body is that of William Anthony Nickaboine, who has been missing since July 17.
The Messenger said Nickaboine's girlfriend last saw him sitting on the porch of a home on the reservation.
