An overnight burglary spree in the southwest metro struck four businesses, including one where an automatic teller machine was hauled away from a restaurant, authorities said.
No arrests have been made in the three break-ins or the attempted break-in Monday in Watertown, Mayer and Norwood Young America, which the Carver County Sheriff's Office says have similarities.
Descriptions of the suspects, based on surveillance video, lack details. Authorities are looking for two males, one about 5 feet 8 with a medium build. The other appears taller and stockier. A green Jeep Grand Cherokee is also being sought in at least one of the crimes.
The ATM was removed from the Luce Line Lodge in downtown Watertown, where authorities responded to an alarm shortly before 4:20 a.m. The same suspects and Jeep appear on video at the Mobil Mart in Mayer, where they cut phone wires but nothing was taken.
In Norwood Young America, the Creative Hair Salon and Family Dollar Store had their back doors pried open and suspects tried to carry away safes.
