Building a Better St. Paul statement on dissolving in the wake of mailing

October 27, 2017 at 10:37PM

Building a Better Saint Paul was created to educate and engage voters in the upcoming mayoral election. Public safety continues to be a critical challenge for St. Paul, but our efforts to ensure it was a part of the debate fell short.

Building a Better Saint Paul is ceasing all activities and will take the necessary steps to dissolve the organization.

As the chairman for Building a Better Saint Paul, the buck stops with me. I accept full responsibility for the actions of the organization and the direct-mail post card that was sent to voters. The information in the post card came directly from many media stories and the police reports that continue to show inconsistencies.
