An 87-year-old Buffalo woman was killed in a broadside crash Wednesday afternoon three miles from her home.
Buffalo police and the Wright County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene at Hwy. 25 and Catlin Street in Buffalo around 4:42 p.m.
Lorraine G. Kurtz was headed west on Anderson Avenue and attempting to turn on Hwy. 25 when she pulled out in front of a semitrailer truck going north on the highway. She was killed when the truck struck her 2001 Chevrolet Lumina broadside.
The semi driver, a 32-year-old man from Ottertail, was uninjured.
