If you've been paying attention to Brother Ali's Twitter and Facebook pages, you already know where you'll be tonight at 11:35 p.m. The Minneapolis MC says he'll make a guest appearance with the Roots tonight on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." Long revered as hip-hop's best live band, the Roots have been Fallon's house band since the comedian took over the time slot in March.

On his Facebook wall, Ali said he will be "sitting in" with the band. So, we're not sure if that means he'll spend the whole hour chilling with the Roots, or if he'll perform once later in the show. On the Rhymesayers website, the label says Ali will be the Roots' special guest performer. Either way, we'll be watching.

On early Monday morning, Ali tweeted that the Roots are his third favorite hip-hop group of all time (behind Run-DMC and Public Enemy).

Fallon airs on NBC at 11:35 p.m. tonight.
