Brooklyn Park police are asking for the public's help in finding a 72-year-old woman who they describe as a vulnerable adult.

Virginia Glauber went missing Wednesday morning from a group home in the 6200 block of Yukon Avenue N.

Police say that she is "emotionally challenged and if spoken to may 'look right through' the speaker and make no response."

According to group home staff members, Glauber, who also goes by the name "Ginger," may have left the home between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Family members believe that she could have wandered from the home or taken a Metro Transit bus, police said.

Police say there were no signs of foul play.

Glauber is white, 5 feet 3 and 125 pounds. She has short white hair and wears her bangs long and combed to one side. She walks slowly to the point of shuffling, police said.

It was not known what she was wearing.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Brooklyn Park police at 763-493-8222.
