One roommate killed another in their Brooklyn Park apartment, and the suspect is jailed, authorities said Wednesday.
A request for police to conduct a welfare check Tuesday at the Huntington Place Apartments in the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue N. led officers to the 51-year-old victim, who showed "obvious signs of trauma," police said in a statement.
"We believe the death occurred within the past couple days," said Deputy Police Chief Mark Bruley.
The 42-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the Police Department's south precinct, Bruley said.
Police haven't said how the man was killed.
