Former Gophers wrestler Brock Lesnar may not be back in the Octagon for awhile.

The WWE Superstar who recently revived his MMA career has been temporarily suspended after failing two drug tests before and after UFC 200 last month, Fox Sports reported.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission announced the suspension during a hearing Tuesday, revealing that Lesnar had tested positive for clomiphene and hydroxy-clomiphene, which is a metabolite of chomiphene. Clomiphene is an anti-estrogen agent that is typically used after a cycle of steroids to prevent many of the side effects that come along with the performance-enhancing drug.

The Beast failed both a pre-fight test and one taken the night that he beat Mark Hunt at UFC 200. However, the Nevada board now has the right to overturn that result depending on the outcome of his hearing. The date for that is yet to be determined, Fox Sports reported.

Lesnar was the UFC heavyweight champion in his first run with the company and has a 6-3 record in MMA.

The 39-year-old fighter was more recently seen back in the wrestling ring at WWE's SummerSlam on Sunday, where he caught Randy Orton with a sharp elbow that sparked spurts of blood — and reportedly caused a backstage altercation with Chris Jericho, who was shocked by the move.
