Sunshine will abound across California on Monday leading to a warmer afternoon
for much of the state.
Inland, temperatures will climb well into the 80s from the Sacramento Valley to the High Desert. Low deserts of the Southeast will have highs into the 90s.
In Southern California, highs will range from about 70 F on the beaches to 80 F to 85 F in the valleys.
Most Bay area highs will fall within a range of 65 F to 75 F.
A cold front bringing rain to the Pacific Northwest on Monday will have only a slight impact farther south. Limited cooling and gusty winds will be felt, mostly at the coast and elsewhere in the northern two-thirds of the state.
