The original went to the Eagan Historical Society. Through the end of the year, prints in two forms are being sold:

• 200 numbered prints on canvas at $120 each; and

• Paper prints for $35.

Prints can be purchased at the administration/finance counter at City Hall, 3830 Pilot Knob Road, or by calling 651-675-5038.

Lakeville

Documents are out on massive project

An environmental assessment is out for public inspection on a huge proposed subdivision in Lakeville. It's called Avonlea, and it's a Mattamy Homes development.

The residential subdivision would cover about 470 acres of farmland on Cedar Avenue. It would contain 832 single-family lots and 249 multifamily lots.

In addition, there would be about 170 acres of open space, including "greenway corridors, parks, trails, wetlands, and stormwater basins," according to city officials.

The documents can be examined at City Hall, 20195 Holyoke Av.; at the library, 20085 Heritage Dr., or online at www.lakevillemn.gov.

Reactions are being invited until Nov. 26.

Gift cards for helping complete survey

The county's Community Development Agency is gathering views from residents, service providers, nonprofits and businesses as it creates a Consolidated Plan.

The plan is a five-year planning document that:

• Identifies housing needs and problems;

• Analyzes market conditions and resources; and

• Sets spending priorities.

Citizen and community input is being gathered at www.dakotacda.org, where there's a survey online.
