Starting left guard Brandon Fusco returned to practice today.

Fusco missed yesterday's practice with a concussion, presumably suffered in Sunday's win. But he was suited up and participating in drills today, so he has cleared that hurdle in the league's concussion protocol.

Fusco was listed as a limited participant on today's official injury report.

His return to practice suggests that he could be able to suit up this Sunday against the Chargers, barring some kind of setback. If he were to sit out, Jeremiah Sirles would likely take his place with the starters.

"When a guy sits out of practice you have to have a plan and we have a plan if Brandon plays and we have a plan if he can't play," offensive coordinator Norv Turner said. "So we'll be prepared either way."

Nose tackle Shamar Stephen (knee) was again a full participant today, per the injury report. He is expected to play against the Chargers.
