Brand New Snowfall Forecast

The impact from this storm will be far-reaching from the Great Plains to theEastern Seaboard, but the worst of it will be spent through the mid-Atlanticregion.The northern I-81 corridor through Virginia into south-central Pennsylvaniawill bear the brunt of the snowstorm with 12 to 18 inches expected. Theparalyzing snowfall may get into Washington, Baltimore and Philadelphia, butthat is less certain at this time. Nevertheless, all those cities will get aheap of snow from this event. In the mid-Atlantic region, the worst of thestorm will hit Friday night into Saturday.

From the Ohio Valley to southern New England, the storm will create difficulttravel conditions. Flight delays are a certainty, and some airports may have toshut down during the height of the storm.

Snowfall totals through the central part of the country through Thursday nightwill be significantly less, but there still will be more than enough to causepoor travel conditions.
