Brother comes first: Greenway senior forward Donte Lawson has spent much of the past the few weeks at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital at the side of his brother, Dominik. The 13-year-old Dominik underwent a third kidney transplant Feb. 23, the same day Donte drove from Minneapolis to Duluth in time to score a hat trick in the section semifinals.

Taking 10 for the team: North Branch statistics show junior goalie Jake Turek, who has been spectacular all season while posting a .924 save percentage, as having played every minute of every game. Not true. Turek sat out the final 10 seconds of the Vikings' Senior Night game against Northern Lakes, giving way to backup and student section favorite Braden Weyenberg in the 6-1 triumph.

Follow the action: Adult tickets are $19 for championship and $14 for consolation sessions. Student tickets are $12 for championship, $9 for consolation.
