Will it be more like the exuberance of "Jai Ho" from "Slumdog Millionaire," or zombies on parade a la "28 Days Later"? Could go either way, as Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle has been named artistic director for the 2012 London Olympic Games opening ceremony. Boyle said he was "honored" and that it will be his job to "provide a thrilling, enthralling, captivating event." Oscar-nominated Stephen Daldry ("The Hours," "The Reader") has also been named to the creative team. London Mayor Boris Johnson enthused, "They exemplify some of the greatest attributes we have -- creativity, vision, and intelligence -- which will be critical to ensuring shows that are as stunning as they are uniquely British."
