Teen on motorcycle dies after striking vehicle on Minnesota highway

The Monday afternoon crash occurred in Marshall, Minn.

A teenager drove a Harley-Davidson motorcycle into the back of car on a Minnesota highway and was killed, officials said Tuesday.

Jaron Robert Kramer, 16, of Marshall was riding on a Harley XL1200 and hit a Subaru Forester from behind, the patrol said. Kramer died at the scene.

The collision occurred about 2:15 p.m. Monday in Marshall on Hwy. 23 near Travis Road, the State Patrol said.

The Subaru’s driver, 67-year-old Phyllis Kay Kennebeck of Lake Wilson, Minn., was not hurt, according to the patrol.
