Twins: Kurt Suzuki singled to right. Aaron Hicks walked, Suzuki advanced to second. Shane Robinson reached on a fielder's choice to short, Suzuki went to third and Hicks was out at second. Twins starting pitcher Ricky Nolasco struck out. Danny Santana was hit by a pitch, Robinson advanced to second. On a wild pitch, Suzuki scored; Robinson went to third and Santana to second on wild pitch. Joe Mauer singled to left-center, scoring Robinson, Santana and Dozier; Mauer went to second on throw. Trevor Plouffe hit a two-run homer to left-center.

Pittsburgh: Jung Ho Kang hit a one-out single to right. Kang to second on a wild pitch. Pedro Alvarez singled to center, Kang advanced to third. Josh Harrison struck out. Francisco Cervelli walked, Alvarez went to second. Pinch-hitter Jose Tabata reached on an infield single, scoring Kang.

Twins: Suzuki hit a ground-rule double to left off reliever Radhames Liz. Hicks singled to left, Suzuki advanced to third. Robinson grounded into a double play to short, scoring Suzuki.
