DURHAM, N.H. - Clarkson had undefeated Boston College on the ropes Friday in the NCAA semifinals, but the Eagles tied it late in regulation won it early in overtime.

Haley Skarupa scored her second goal of the game 58 seconds into the extra session, giving Boston College a 3-2 win at Whittemore Center Arena and sending the Eagles to their first NCAA title game.

The Eagles were 0-5 in their five previous trips to the Women's Frozen Four. In Sunday's championship game they'll meet the Gophers, who defeated Wisconsin 3-2 in overtime.

Boston College (40-0) is trying to join the 2012-13 Gophers as the only Division-I women's hockey teams to finish a season undefeated. Entering Friday, the Eagles had trailed in just six games this season for a total of 49 minutes, 7 seconds. Clarkson (30-6-5) jumped to a lead 2:27 into the first period and stretched it to 2-0 early in the second.

Skarupa trimmed it to 2-1 with her 34th goal later in the period. Kailya Johnson tied it on a shot from the slot with 3:53 remaining.
