With the summer days dwindling, indoor imbibing shouldn't be a part of your party plans in the immediate future. Spend the fleeting fair-weather weeks boozing al fresco and laughing at the notion of paying full price at these patio-possessing establishments.

The Herkimer Pub & Brewery

2922 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls. • 612-821-0101 • www.theherkimer.com

Forget persnickety bars and restaurants that confine their price breaks to indoors. How dare they make us decide between fresh air and frugality? This Lyn-Lake brewpub extends its 3-6 p.m. daily deals to its sidewalk and patio tables (the ones by that sweet bag-toss setup). Enjoy two-for-one beers, wells and wines, and $1-$3 appetizers under the sun (or an umbrella, for pasty people).

Clubhouse Jäger

923 Washington Av. N., Mpls. • 612-812-1072 • www.clubjager.com

Double down on your alcohol intake during the hip North Loop tavern's 3-7 p.m. happy hour Tuesday through Saturday. As much as we love the interior's Old World pub decor (never mind the disco ball), we suggest taking your two-for-one domestic taps and rails out to the expansive back patio.

Burger Moe's

242 W. 7th St., St. Paul • 651-222-3100 • www.burgermoes.com

Save some cash for winter vacation while drinking on one of St. Paul's primo patios. The West Seventh burger bar boasts two daily happy hours from 3-6 p.m. and 9 p.m.-close (although Monday's early hours are cut short for a $5 burger special), when taps and rails are a buck off and all apps are half-priced. Bonus: The late shift features $2 off burgers. Keep putting back the beers and you'll be Mexico-bound in no time.
