Many of the new faces at the 2008 Minnesota Zoo concert series are old names with splendid resumes: Hootie & the Blowfish, Bootsy Collins, Morris Day & the Time and Booker T. & the MGs.

The 25 shows at the Weesner Family Amphitheater will feature such familiar zoo attractions as Lucinda Williams and Marc Cohn, as well as younger sensations Hasidic rapper Matisyahu and blues-rock guitar hero Derek Trucks, who will share a bill with his wife, Susan Tedeschi.
