Authorities recovered a body from the Mississippi River near the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis Friday afternoon.
A caller reported that a body had been spotted in the water about 1 p.m., and deputies with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office soon removed it from the water.
The gender and name of the person and the cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
