A few more details surfaced Sunday about a body found over the weekend along Interstate 94 near downtown Minneapolis.
The body is that of a man, and he "does not appear to be homeless," said police spokesman John Elder.
Otherwise, Elder added, police are declining to say more. The man's identity will be released by the Hennepin County medical examiner's office.
The State Patrol on Saturday described the man's death as being "unwitnessed," and it did "not appear [to be the result of] a hit & run crash" on westbound 94 near Groveland Avenue, the patrol's Lt. Tiffani Schweigart wrote in a tweet.
