The body of a man who jumped from the Interstate 35W bridge in downtown Minneapolis two weeks ago was found Tuesday in the water in St. Paul, authorities said.

The body of the man, in his 20s, was recovered at the Ford Dam, Hennepin County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Lisa Kiava said. Involved in the body's retrieval at about noon were personnel from the St. Paul police and fire departments, and the Ramsey and Hennepin County sheriff's offices.

About 6 p.m. on March 20, witnesses reported seeing a man jump from the 35W bridge in Minneapolis. Since then, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office had been using boats every day to search the river.

The man's identity hasn't been released.
