A Faribault man was arrested Friday on suspicion of second-degree homicide after information he gave investigators led to a body believed to be that of Chelsea Martinez of Ohio.
On Monday, a Rice County sheriff's deputy found an abandoned car in the parking lot at Shager Park on Faribault's Cannon Lake. The vehicle registration turned up an "attempt to locate" for Martinez.
An interview Friday with the suspect led investigators to the body near where Martinez's car was found.
