Police identified the body of a man found floating in the Mississippi River in La Crosse, Wis., on Friday morning as a fisherman who's been missing since November.
Members of the fire department pulled the body from the water in front of the Riverside Center in downtown La Crosse around 8 a.m. Friday. The deceased was identified as 27-year-old Joshua Xiong from Onalaska, Wis.
Xiong went missing Nov. 9 while fishing alone in his boat at Lock and Dam 7 near Dresbach, Minn. An autopsy was scheduled for Saturday morning with the La Crosse County medical examiner's office.
