Authorities found a body in the Mississippi River in Fridley on Thursday afternoon, the Anoka County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
The body is not thought to be related to the case of Barway Collins, a 10-year-old Crystal boy missing for about three weeks, said Sheriff's Cmdr. Paul Sommer.
The body appears to be that of an adult and has been in the water a while, Sommer said.
