Searchers have recovered the body of a boater who was one of two men who fell into a northern Minnesota lake more than 24 hours earlier, authorities said.

A dive team recovered the body about 4:20 p.m. Wednesday from Hay Lake, said Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch.

The men were tossed from their boat early Tuesday afternoon while on the lake located near Pine River. Emergency responders and sheriff's deputies located the boat's operator and brought him to shore, the Sheriff's Office said. He was treated for minor injuries.

The Sheriff's Office has yet to identify the men.
