Blue Line trains are running up to 20 minutes behind schedule Tuesday morning following a mechanical failure earlier in the day.

Trains in both directions "are moving" now, but are working to get back on schedule, said spokesman Howie Padilla at 6:30 a.m.

A train broke down near the VA Medical Station forcing trains in both directions to share a track.
