Seeing experts pull a molten blob of glass from a fiery furnace is always a thrill. Even more so if snow is falling and winds howling outside. So don't miss the amazing artists who will be Minneapolis for a three-day glass sculpting workshop, Jan 14 - 16.

Charles Lowrie apprenticed for five years with glass-master Pino Signoretto of Murano, Italy; Michael Angelo Menconi brings a decade of experience at the Corning Museum of Glass and managing his own studio. They will give daily demonstrations of cane-working, sculpting and teamwork, all of which can be observed from the mezzanine at FOCI: Minnesota Center for Glass Arts, 2010 E. Hennepin Av., Building #10, Minneapolis.
