Deborah Harry is up-to-the-minute on modern gadgetry:

First of all: I'm sure the people who staff the X-ray machines don't stop the belt, peer at the screen, and call over some senior TSA member who examines the wires, and says "I believe it might be a charger of some sort. We got the memo last week. Apparently they're devices people use to put electricity into their personal electronics. First I've seen of it, though." I travel with all of the above, and breeze right through. Second: it's probably not fair for ding her for this remark, since it was something said offhand in the interview, elevated beyond its intended importance by the author. Third: any new albums planned? Yes: "Panic of Girls" comes out in a week.

The interview is here. And yes, she's 66. In the old days, the culture portrayed women who were ten years younger as Mrs. Olsen-types, with grey hair in a bun.
