One man has pleaded guilty in a conspiracy to intimidate U.S. District Judge Ann Montgomery.
Norman William Pool of Blaine entered his plea Thursday to one count of conspiracy to impede an officer.
He and three others were accused of trying to prevent Montgomery from presiding over the conspiracy and tax evasion trial of former millionaire Robert Beale. The 65-year-old Beale was sentenced this month to more than 11 years in prison on those tax-evasion charges.
In the intimidation case, authorities say Beale, Pool and two others used the rules of their own "common law court" to create arrest warrants for Montgomery. Beale and the others are still awaiting trial.
A message left for Pool's attorney wasn't immediately returned.
