Back ice will be a threat across a good portion of the Carolinas and theDeep South early on today. Any wet spots left on untreated roadways have frozeninto black ice across the South as temperatures fell Friday night into earlythis morning.During the daytime, sunshine will help to melt the black ice, which could thenbecome a problem again tonight and early Sunday.
