Woodwinds Hospital will hold an information session on Thursday to show off its new fitness center and answer questions from people who are interested in joining.
Health and wellness coaches and dietary professionals will talk about gym memberships, exercise classes and other services offered through Woodwinds' Ways to Wellness from 5 to 5:45 p.m. in the Oak Center Building, 1825 Woodwinds Drive.
Woodwinds recently spent $134,000 to install low-step treadmills, elliptical machines, a recumbent bicycle and a NuStep, a sit-down version of the NordicTrack. The center, which is open 24 hours, also has free weights, balancing balls and group fitness classes. A $49 monthly enrollment fee also includes a quarterly face-to-face meeting with a trainer to help set and evaluate fitness goals.

WOODBURY
Clothes Mentor gets larger digs Clothes Mentor, a store that deals in "gently used" brand-name women's fashions and accessories, will be closed on Monday and Tuesday so crews can move its merchandise a few doors down. The store is relocating to a larger space in Woodbury Commons across from Wal-Mart at 10150 Hudson Road to make way for a Becker Furniture showroom.
Clothes Mentor will reopen Wednesday in a 4,500-square-foot space near Schuler Shoes and New Balance Twin Cities, said owner Mark Hoon.
"Adding 1,000 square feet will make it a better shopping experience," said Hoon, who runs the store with his wife, Barb.
Clothes Mentor is a store that pays cash for people's unwanted business and casual clothing, apparel, shoes, purses and accessories that are in-style and in good or new condition, and then resells them. The store's hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
