A Woodbury coffee shop known for its gourmet European brews has changed its name and enlarged its space.

Formerly known as Sati Coffee and Crêpes and Custard, the shop at 572 Commons Drive has renamed itself Brix Coffee, said store manager Charity Silvis.

"We hope to expand nationally, so we needed something that was more identifiable and easier to remember," she said.

The store, which has no immediate plans to open another location, recently expanded and took over space that was occupied by Woodbury Jewelers. Silvis said that the shop will still import beans from France's Cafe Sati and continue to offer a full menu of 12 brews along with teas, sodas, smoothies, sandwiches and crêpes.

The Woodbury Chamber of Commerce held a grand re-opening Feb. 10 at the store, which is open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
