Significant traffic disruptions are expected in Woodbury this summer as crews work to rehabilitate a segment of Valley Creek Road.

Washington County officials will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday to show business owners how the project could affect customers and clients. It will be held from 9-11 a.m. in the Birch Room at Woodbury City Hall, 8301 Valley Creek Road.

The project, set to begin in June and run through September, includes repaving Valley Creek Road between Interlachen Parkway and Bielenberg Drive. It also includes replacing broken storm sewers, improving accessibility of pedestrian ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and upgrading traffic signals.

At times, access to businesses and residential areas will be restricted. Northbound and southbound Radio Drive also will be closed for a short time when pavement in the intersection is replaced.

More information on the project is available at www.co.washington.mn.us/valleycreekroad.
