ST. PAUL, Minn. — Minnesota is launching a statewide campaign asking motorists to hang up their phones and pay attention in work zones.

The campaign starts Monday and will continue through the construction season.

It's part of the Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths effort promoting safe and smart driving behavior.

Motorists driving around Minnesota this summer will see the "Orange Cones. No Phones" message on billboards, reminding them to hang up their phones and pay attention in work zones.

Radio ads carrying that message will be played throughout the state.
