Big Warm-Up This Week

An early hint of spring will spread across much of the nation this week astemperatures soar well above normal.On the Plains, temperatures Wednesday could break 70 degrees into South Dakota,and 80 degrees into Oklahoma and Kansas.

Thursday will find 70 degrees in many areas from Kansas City to St. Louis andLouisville. Chicago and Pittsburgh could see 60 degrees.

On Friday, readings in the 60s will invade southern New England and eastern NewYork state with 70 degrees to about Washington, D.C., and Baltimore.
