Big Four on big screen (Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax)

Nothing says thrash metal like a plush, cushioned, glitzy, hi-fi suburban megacinema. That's where metalheads will be on June 22, when the so-called Big Four -- Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax -- is scheduled to appear on screen together via satellite from the one-night-only metal summit at a festival in Bulgaria. It'll hardly compare with being there, but these satellite concerts are usually pretty cool, with great sound, good camera work and no drunk guy behind you spilling Bud Lite down your back. Actually, you might still get that in the case of this one. Click here to order tickets ($18).

Here's a list of theaters around the Twin Cities that will be showing it: Eden Prairie 18, Rosedale 14 (with IMAX), Eagan 16, Brooklyn Center 20, Kerasotes Block E, Showplace ICON at The West End, Parkwood 18 Theatre and Oakdale Cinema.
