Launched eight years ago in a Minneapolis bike shop, Artcrank long ago outgrew that modest venue. Thousands of bike aficionados are expected to converge for the opening Saturday of this year's show, which features 50 bike-themed posters, all by Twin Cities artists, designers and illustrators.

Priced to sell at $40 each, the posters are handmade in limited editions. In keeping with the strictly local theme, the party will be at the headquarters of popular craft beer Fulton. Expect food trucks, free valet bike parking by Nice Ride Minnesota, and Peace Coffee for a wide-awake ride home.

The Saturday shindig is a one-night-stand but the show will go on, moving to the cooperative print studio Hamilton Ink Spot in St. Paul's Lowertown for an extended run.

When: 4-10 p.m. Sat., June 6. Free.

Where: Fulton Brewing, 2540 NE. 2nd St., Mpls.

Extended show: June 12-27 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat. at Hamilton Ink Spot, 375 N. Wabasha St., St. Paul. Free.
